First unveiled in 1893 the centerpiece of the World's Fair was the Ferris Wheel! Of the numerous proposals for Chicago’s spectacle attraction, nothing captured the imagination quite like the “Chicago Wheel." While the wheel has been rebuilt with modern technology throughout the years, the Ferris Wheel has become a permanent fixture in Chicago's Skyline, remaining a popular attraction for locals and visitors alike. This World's Fair Wooden Ornament is a reminder of Chicago's past, present and future, architectural influence on the world.
