For many the phrase 'Chicago Pizza' brings to mind an image of a gooey slice of deep dish. However, while we do love that cheesy pull, most Chicagoans aren't eating it on a regular basis. Instead, we are ditching the fork and knife to opt for something thinner, greaser, and square cut that can be eaten while holding a beer. That's right, we are talking about Tavern Style Pizza! While this pizza is often attributed to New York, tavern-style actually traces back to the South Side of Chicago originating at Vito's & Nick's in 1946 following prohibition. That's why we've created this Tavern Style Pizza 3 x 2 Magnet, in honor of the cracker-thin crust, to let the world know that no matter what style, Chicago still does pizza best.
Magnet measures 3" x 2".
Designed and produced by Transit Tees in Chicago's Wicker Park neighborhood.
