Gracing our beloved streetscapes in the City of Chicago for many years now are certain shingle signs, representing a certain beer, a ‘Classic Lager’ if you will, which came to be known as “Chicago’s Beer”’, a beer known as Old Style. This sign, this shining light, this beacon of hope glistening in the distance, has always shone us da way to the most respectable watering holes in our fair city, and on occasion, daaaa ’Burbs.

Transit Tees has been hard at work with Old Style to bring to life a version of this sign you can bring home, your favorite dive, or any place one would likely partake in consumption of daaaa beers. Bring this sign home when it ships this November when it comes fresh out the factory in a couple, two, tree months. Light Up With Style and let the neighbors know that Old Style is Chicago's Beer.

Sign measures 16 x 13 inches and 4.3 inches thick. Includes a metal hanging chain. Cord placement on final product will be at the bottom of the sign.

Designed by Transit Tees in Chicago's Wicker Park neighborhood.

We have dive bar at home

I’ve been wanting a vintage old style sign for a bit but the real ones are massive. Saw this and instantly scooped it. Everything I needed for the wood panel lined basement. Now when my wife says we have a dive bar at home, she really means it! Don’t think just buy it! Great night light for a kid too ??!

The light is perfect, you can hang it by chain or flat against the wall. Definitely a fun little addition

Knocked this out of the park

This sign is perfect quality, no notes. When I turned it on the first time I magically briefly transformed into my grandfather sucking down beers in the frontroom watching a Cubs game on WGN in 1968. Seriously, it's a gorgeous sign and very commercial/heavy duty quality. Way better than I was expecting for a repro and fully justified the price tag for me. I have it hanging proudly in my garage gym to honor all my mildly drunk uncles and grandpas. Now let's get a same-scale Schlitz sign happening, eh?
