Irving Park and Avondale were annexed into the city in 1889 after having developed as a well-to-do suburb. In 1910, residents successfully lobbied the city to establish several neighborhood parks, the largest of which would be Independence Park. A large field house was built for the park, and its characteristic arches feature on this magnet.

1.5" Square Magnet.

Designed and produced by Transit Tees in Chicago's Wicker Park neighborhood.
